Family farmstay holidays in Cornwall – complete itineraries for toddlers and preschoolers

Posted on: 22nd September 2020

Family fun time is more important than ever this year.  Family farmstay holidays in Cornwall create magical memories that last a lifetime.  To help time-stretched parents, we’ve put together a full autumn, winter and spring holiday itinerary that ticks the fun box as well as meeting all government guidelines.

A family holiday at Tredethick is just that – a holiday for the whole family. And whether you’ve got a babe in arms, a toddler in tow or an energetic pre-schooler, we’ve got things pretty well covered.

The first piece of good news is that ALL our facilities are open.  ALL, every one.  There are modifications to achieve Visit England’s ‘Go to GO‘ Covid-secure badge but our rural setting helps too. Tredethick has self-contained, stone cottages (with individual gardens), is small (eight cottages) and there’s acres of space and nature to explore.

There are surprising advantages to 2020 changes too. For example, our indoor pool is open every day for exclusive family time. You get our beautiful, warm (30C) indoor pool to yourselves for hourly slots.  Enjoy family time or book our experienced swim coach to give you or your little ones some tuition.

You can use the step-by-step guide below to book visiting slots before your holiday.  So, you can relax when you arrive.

You’re welcome…

Holiday prep

To help packing, we provide plenty of baby and toddler-friendly kit, you can find the ful inventory here.

Check the weather for the week ahead, but wellies are always a good bet for animal feeding or a yomp in the woods.  Swimming stuff for the indoor pool and hot tub garden.  And don’t forget your beach kit: it could be rash vests and cossies or anoraks and waterproof trousers, depending on the time of year.

Book ahead:

You can find trip details in our digital guestbook.  Don’t forget to download the app onto your phone.  It’s faster, easier to access, and available if you’re offline without reception.
