Welcome to Tredethick
Where every day’s an adventure
Here at Tredethick we specialise in holidays for families with young children. Our lovely Cornish farm may be spread over almost 80 acres but everything we do is on a small scale. It creates a wonderfully relaxing feel, which for our smallest guests – babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers – works especially well.
So what else makes it so special? Gorgeous cottages, a balmy indoor pool, friendly farm animals and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures… Now, where’s that suitcase?
8th February - End of Easter
Stay this Spring and enjoy the most special of lamb experiences.
Spring is an incredibly special time for families visiting Tredethick. Each year, we welcome several orphaned lambs looking for a home and they’ll become a big part of your stay. You’ll be able to visit them, feed them and maybe watch them skipping around, trying to get the cutest of cuddles!
For your family
Everything we do is with your young family at heart
We’ve been welcoming families (many again and again) to our farm for more than 20 years. We love seeing young children and toddlers make new friends and new discoveries – whether it’s finding a freshly-laid egg or riding a velvet-nosed pony. Seeing adults unwind and recharge is always rewarding too. We pride ourselves on providing holidays that are as fun for little ones as they are relaxing for grown-ups.
Fun on the farm
Mini-adventures for your little ones to enjoy
Get the day off to a flying start with animal feeding. Our friendly animals love getting their breakfast from our smallest guests. Then there are ponies to ride and mini-tractors to pedal – perfect for budding farmers. There’s a woodland playscape to explore, an outdoor play park and farm-themed balance bike track. Take a dip in our gorgeous indoor pool – great if the weather misbehaves – and enjoy our indoor play barn.
Conde Nast Traveller
An exceptional place to stay with a baby or toddler
We’re really proud to be featured as one of the 21 best places to stay in the UK with your baby or toddler by the prestigious Conde Naste Traveller. You’ll also find us featured in publications such as Kiddie Holidays, Holiday Tots, Family Traveller Magazine and Net Mums. The i Newspaper even referred to us as a ‘toddler nirvana’!
With so much to do, what will be their favourite bit?
Just being on the farm, amidst idyllic countryside, means there’s plenty to explore and discover. Bottle-feeding lambs, herding piggies, riding a pony, splashing in the pool… There’s loads to do outdoors and in – so rain never stops play. Every guest, big and small, has their own favourite bit – which will yours be?
Explore Cornwall with your little ones
If you can tear yourselves away from the farm (and not everyone can) you’ve masses of places to visit and things to do. It would be hard to come to Cornwall and not go to the beach, and you’ve a fabulous array to choose from. Little ones will love exploring the rock pools in sheltered sandy coves, while older kids and parents can try riding the waves on one of the amazing surf beaches. The Eden Project is just 15 minutes from the farm too.
