Baby breaks
Taking your little one away for the first time can be pretty daunting. There’s all your kit to consider and perhaps some cunningly constructed routines. That’s why we’ve done everything to make staying with us as relaxing as possible – hopefully far more relaxing than staying at home!
Kitted out for kids
We’ve been welcoming babies to Tredethick for more than 20 years, which means we’ve had plenty of practice when it comes to getting your cottage just right. From high chairs and bottle sterilisers, to cots and blackout blinds, your cottage comes fully kitted for all the family.
Animal feeding
You’re welcome to join us for animal feeding in the mornings and we can promise that seeing their faces light up the first time they meet our menagerie of farm animals will be one of the most magical memories you’ll take home.
Pony rides
Let them try something they’ve never done before; our gentle ponies Little Joe, Nimbus and Tommy are the perfect first ride for your little one and absolutely brilliant with kids of all ages. Make sure you bring the camera for this one!
Swimming pool
Have a budding little swimmer on your hands? Our pool is heated to a balmy 30c to keep every member of the family nice and toasty when taking their first strokes. Because our pool is only available to our guests, you’ll find it the perfect safe space to get braver in the water.
Soft play
We know that kids love soft play, which is why we have a room that’s completely devoted to it! With light pouring through the long windows that look out onto our farmland, fresh coffee and newspapers, this a space that you’ll all want to spend plenty of time in.
Woodland and farm trail
Our farm trail and woodland playscape offers a brilliant opportunity to make the most of the gorgeous countryside that surrounds us – Borrow a baby carrier for a peaceful explore.
Beach adventures
Is it a Cornish holiday without feeling the sand between your toes? If not, then pack the puddle suit and pick which bit of gorgeous sand you’ll be headed to. There’s plenty of options within a close drive and we’ve got some great recommendations for baby-sized rock pools!
