School holidays
Children in the first few school years are senior states people here at Tredethick. From carrying feed buckets and driving wheelbarrows to making friends and enjoying freedoms around our small private complex, the farm is a small world for them to explore.
Animal feeding
Let them take the lead when it comes to chasing after our Kune Kune pigs, feeding the lambs in spring or giving the goats their morning breakfast! No matter what the age, this is one of the highlights of the day for all the family.
Pony rides & Pony Poppets
If it’s their first ride then let our gentle ponies, Little Joe, Nimbus or Tommy show them around Tredethick with a lead-rein walk around the farm. If your little one is already pony-mad, checkout our Pony Poppet sessions!
Swimming pool
We’ve heated the pool to 30c to make sure that all of the family can enjoy a warm swim no matter what the time of year. It’s also 1.2 metres deep, which means adults can walk alongside their children, making it a safe and enjoyable space for you all.
Mini-tractors & scooters track
If they love a little outdoor fun then our min-tractor and scooter track will be a spot on the farm that you spend a lot of time. We find the peddle-powered John Deer tractors and scooters are a big hit with budding cyclists, no matter what the weather!
Woodland and farm trail
Our farm trail and woodland playscape is a brilliant place for you to explore nature around the farm. Our farm trail takes you through fields and woods, across bridges and over streams… it’s a proper family adventure!
Play park
Our play park has more play than you could shake a stick at! Swings, slides, a play tower, ropes to climb, bouncy chickens to ride on and a tractor to drive.
Play barn
Our indoor play barn is packed full of fun things for all the family to get stuck into. Table tennis, table football, a pool table, 10 tonnes of sand and Wendy house with a slide for younger ones make this the perfect spot on a rainy day… or any day!
Beach adventures
Is it a Cornish holiday without feeling the sand between your toes? If not, then pack the puddle suit and pick which bit of gorgeous sand you’ll be headed to. There’s plenty of options within a close drive and we’ve got some great recommendations for toddler-sized rock pools!
