Short breaks
Sometimes all we need are a few days away from life to recharge, reset and take on the world again! We offer short breaks (including an animal feed and pony ride session), with Friday and Monday check-ins throughout the year during term times.
Come back twice in the same calendar year (and many families do!) and we’ll throw in a family ticket to The Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan, see our Offers page.
Animal feeding
How does spending your first morning feeding friendly farm animals sound? Our smallest guests absolutely love this part of their holiday and there’s something incredibly special about seeing their little faces light up as they meet our lambs, goats, pigs and sheep!
Pony rides
Our gentle ponies Little Joe, Nimbus and Tommy love nothing more than showing the smallest of guests around Tredethick and they’re ready to do it every Monday and Wednesday. Make sure you bring your camera with you as the photos are priceless.
Swimming pool
Head for a dip in the pool, which is heated to a balmy 30c to make sure our guests of all ages are kept nice and warm. The pool is 1.2 metres deep, meaning that parents can walk alongside their budding swimmers all the way.
Soft play
We know that kids love soft play, which is why we have a room that’s completely devoted to it! With light pouring through the long windows that look out onto our farmland, fresh coffee and newspapers, this a space that you’ll all want to spend plenty of time in.
Woodland and farm trail
Our farm trail and woodland playscape offers a brilliant opportunity to make the most of the gorgeous countryside that surrounds us – Borrow a baby carrier for a peaceful explore.
Play park
If the weather is fair, or even if it isn’t, give them the chance to jump in a puddle or have fun in our outdoor play area. Slides, swings, a big toy tractor, bouncy chickens, a roundabout, ropes to climb; this really is child paradise!
Play barn
Rain never stops play at Tredethick and our play barn is a sure-fire way to make sure it doesn’t! With a wide range of games and toys, along with 10 tonnes of sand, we’ve seen many familie spend hours and hours in this awesome space.
Balance bikes
Our specially designed balance bike track will have aspiring cyclists whizzing along in no time. Besides balance bikes, we’ve scooters and pedal-powered John Deere mini tractors. There’s even a seating area for mum and dad to have a time out!
Beach adventures
Even if you’re only with us a couple of nights, is it a Cornish holiday without feeling the sand between your toes? If not, then pack the puddle suit and pick which bit of gorgeous sand you’ll be headed to. You’ll find plenty of options within a close drive.
