It's all included

What's included

Tredethick isn’t just a holiday cottage, it’s an experience we want you and your children to enjoy and remember for a long time. So we include all our on-site facilities and experiences for free. That’s everything from animal feeding in the mornings to unlimited swimming pool use, the play barn, the farm trails…. the list goes on and on!

We’ve gone to great lengths to make life as easy as possible for you and the kids; your cottage will be packed full to the rafters with child-friendly essentials, and you’ll find every element of our site has been curated with both you and your children in mind.

Starting your holiday

Built up a hunger during the drive? We’ve got you covered! Tuck in to a good cup of tea, some local apple juice for the little ones, and of course, a scone or two. The only thing we would say is that you’re going to be in Cornwall, so it just has to be jam first! Why? Simply because that’s the best (and the Cornish) way! Try it, you’ll love it.

Inside your cottage

Once you’ve munched your way through those delicious cream teas, you’ll find we’ve thought of pretty much everything you’ll need. From high quality wooden cots, black out blinds and night lights, to highchairs, child-friendly cutlery, booster seats and bottle sterilisers; it’s all included in your cottage.

On-site facilities

Tredethick is full of fun activities for you and your little ones.  There’s the indoor swimming pool (heated to a balmy 30C), a soft play with fresh coffee and newspapers for you,  a playbarn (with 10 tonnes of sand-based fun), woodlands and meadows to explore, a balance bike track to master and a secluded hot tub garden for some parental peace. It’s all included in your holiday.

Your farm experiences

No matter if it’s the first or the tenth time you’ve stayed with us, there’s something magical in how little ones interact with the animals and get stuck into countryside life. Join us for morning animal feeding (and there’s a strong chance they’ll collect a fresh egg from the henhouse!) or gentle lead-rein pony rides.

Keeping you warm

Is there anything cosier than a welcoming fire in a countryside cottage? We don’t think so.  If you’re staying with us during in cooler months, we’ll provide logs grown on the farm in one of the five cottages which have log burners. We’ve got fire guards to keep the little ones safe too.  All our cottages are centrally heated (using miscanthus, a biofuel also grown right here on the farm).

Something for the way home

We know that you can’t stay forever, so to to make sure the drive home is a little more bearable, we’ll give your newly appointed ‘mini farmer’ (for those aged 10 and under) a party bag or soft toy to remember their stay with us. Then the countdown to your next visit begins!
