FAQs

Some questions you may have

If you’re planning to stay with us, or you’ve already booked, you may have some questions.  We’ve answered some of the most common ones below, but  – if there’s any information you can’t find on our website –  then please contact us, we’re very happy to help.

What are our changeover days?

For week-long holidays, our changeover day is Friday.  For short breaks it can be on a Friday or Monday, giving you the option of a 3, 4 or 7 night break.

What about Christmas & New Year?

Christmas and New Year weeks start on 21st & 28th December. Shorter breaks are available on request

What are our arrival & departure times?

Please arrive from 4pm onwards and we ask you to depart by 10am.

Are there any additional charges?

No, the holiday price is inclusive of all facilities and activities, excluding Pony Poppets and EV charging.

What additional items can I request?

Cot with mattress sheet (please bring your own cot bedding)
Bed guards
Blackout blinds
Highchairs
Booster seats
Infants microwave bottle sterilisers

Can I ask my supermarket to deliver?

Yes you can. Don’t forget to give the cottage name on the delivery instructions. Also please make sure you book a delivery time slot when you know you will be here to accept delivery.

When do you feed the animals with the children?

Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am throughout the year.

Do you still do animal feeding in the winter?

Yes, animal feeding continues throughout the year. When the weather gets really cold and wet we bring the goats, pigs and ponies inside the barns.

When do you do pony rides?

Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am.

Is WiFi available?

Yes, it’s free and available in all the cottages and facilities. It’s serviceable but not exceptionally fast.

Do you accept dogs?

We don’t. We love canine friends but – with very young children and livestock on-site – we have taken the decision to keep the farm  dog-free.

What do I need to bring?

If you are coming out of season wellies are a good idea for animal feeding. For everything else it’s probably best for us to list what we provide.
