Tredethick is all about families spending time together and we are confident that we can offer a great guest experience to families in this new era.
We are lucky: our cottages are separate from each other with individual garden space, and surrounded by acres of fields and woodlands which you are most welcome to enjoy. Our new nature playscape is currently under construction, which should make exploring the farm even more fun.
We have the ‘Good To Go’ Visit England kitemark to signify that we are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and have checked the required processes in place.
Enhanced hygiene procedures. Hand sanitiser dispensers and hand-washing facilities are located at convenient points around the farm. See the image below for locations.
Enhanced cottage and site cleaning measures. Our housekeeping team follow COVID-19 cleaning guidances issued by the Professional Association of Self-Caterers. Our experienced housekeepers are provided with PPE and virucidal cleaning products. Busy areas around the farm are cleaned with enhanced frequency. Our self check-in time is now 4pm, to allow time to clean according to these new protocols.
Social distancing. Staff and guest families at the farm will be asked maintain two metres distance on-site. There are signs to remind us all, dotted around the farm. This is relatively easy to effect with the space at Tredethick.
Adapting animal feeding and facilities. There will be two animal feeding sessions for two household groups during the week, and a separate pony ride session, rather than group animal feeding and pony rides. You’ll have the opportunity to visit our friendly animals throughout the daytime in their outdoor paddocks.
Our balance bike track, play park, hot tub garden, farm trail and farm shop are open, with COVID-19 safety measures in place. Our indoor pool is open and bookable for exclusive, one family at-a-time slots. Tredethick’s soft play and play barn are currently closed, as per government guidelines. Our facilities are used at your own risk and guests are asked to follow guidelines outlined in our guest charter.
Information on days out, meals in and more. We’ll send a digital guestbook to all guests a week before their stay. This will include self check-in information and current visitor information. You can click on the destination links provided in the guestbook to check current visitor information and access booking slots where needed. Please do contact us with any questions.
We’re looking forward to welcoming families back to beautiful Tredethick, and will work our wellies off to ensure you have a good holiday!
