Although we do not have a confirmed opening date, planning is underway to ensure we can reopen with appropriate Covid-19 secure measures in place. Tredethick is all about families spending time together and, although we will have to make some changes, we are confident that we can adapt and offer a great guest experience to families – and a safe holiday – when the time is right.
We will comply with protocols outlined by the UK Government Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) right now. These steps include:
Changes to animal feeding and facilities from reopening
There will be an animal feeding session exclusively for your family during the week, and a separate pony ride session, rather than group animal feeding and pony rides for now. There’s also the opportunity to visit animals throughout the daytime in their outdoor paddocks.
Please wash your hands or sanitise them before touching the gates, ride-on toys, animals and any other surfaces.
Most of our facilities likely to be available (the indoor pool, balance bike track, playpark, farm shop and soft play) with enhanced cleaning and social distancing protocols in place.
Please bring equipment you need. Hand sanitiser and (animal-themed!) face masks are also available to buy from the farm shop.
Our facilities are used at your own risk.
You can self-check into your cottage from 3pm. Your cottage will be open and ready for you to settle in. Online food deliveries are available. To comply with Covid-19 hygiene protocols, please ensure you are here to unpack when delivery arrives.
You’ll find full details on our Covid-19 measures, as well as how to visit the animals safely and ideas for the best socially distance local trips, in the information file in your cottage. Please take time to read through this. We are available both before and during your holiday to answer any questions you may have.
