Enjoy a day out

Out and about

Aah Cornwall! Where do you start? There are so many amazing places to see that are worth waking the baby for. And a trip to the beach is definitely up there on most people’s list. You’ve a ridiculous number to choose from – from sheltered sandy coves with crab-filled rockpools to wild surf beaches. There are picturesque towns and villages, historic castles and spectacular gardens. Take a ferry trip, hire a boat or conduct a survey of the finest Cornish cream teas.

location

Away from it all –
yet close to so much

Tredethick Farm is located beside the lower Fowey Valley, officially designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – and it’s easy to see why. Lush farmland, gently undulating hills and ancient, deciduous woodland all make for a gloriously picturesque setting, perfect for playing, picnicking and exploring.

Beach Days

Happiness comes in waves!

Where to start! Cornwall has some of the best beaches in the UK, if not the world. Choose from sheltered south coast beaches and harbours, secluded rocky coves and iconic north coast sand and waves. Our beaches have a big tidal reach so there’s plenty of scope for rock-pooling too. And the beach cafes, well… Here’s a few of our beach picks.

On the doorstep

Within 20 minutes

Because we’re located pretty much in the middle of Cornwall, everywhere is within easy reach. Most of the places you’ll want to visit are less than an hour away. Woodland walks, sandy beaches, and those attractions you’ve heard so much about can be in your holiday plans… without long journeys for the kids.

Further afield

Great places to discover further afield
