Thank you for booking to stay with us. We are doing our utmost to keep as many facilities as possible open and – to do that safely – we need your help. We have our ‘Good To Go’ Visit Britain kitemark to signify that we are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and have checked the required processes in place.
We’re aware that COVID-19 safety measures may feel rather like a military operation and, to be honest, it does feel like that when planning it! However, we promise it will most definitely not be presented in that way at the farm and we are focused on creating a safe, yet fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Please take time to read through our Guest Charter.
Please follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines outlined below:
Respect social distancing with anyone outside of your household, including other guests, staff and our family. Supervise children to ensure they keep social distance with others, especially during independent outdoor play.
Wash hands regularly with hot, soapy water, when this facility is not available, use hand sanitiser. Please wash hands or sanitise before touching farm gates, door handles, ride-on toys, animals and other surfaces and encourage your children to do so too. Hand sanitiser dispensers and hand-washing facilities are located at convenient points around the farm. You may find it useful to bring some smaller, clip-on bottles with you, or you can buy them in our farm shop.
Act responsibly on holiday in Cornwall. ¯If a location is crowded and it’s difficult to maintain social distancing, the advice from Cornwall Council is to change your plans.
Please read safety measures for facilities and activities in the digital information folder sent to all guests before your holiday. Facilities are used at your own risk. To minimise the risk of transmission, paper information folders have been removed from the cottages.
If you or any member of your party has symptoms of COVID-19, please do not travel to Tredethick. If a member of your party develops symptoms during your stay, please inform us immediately and do not visit any of our communal areas. If you are able to safely do so (by car, not public transport), please return home immediately to your own support network and healthcare area. If self-isolation is required to take place at Tredethick, unfortunately all fees for your cottage affected by this self-isolation will be borne by the guest.
Departure. On the morning of departure, we would be very grateful if you could check-out by 10am at the latest. We have a stringent cleaning programme and need time to air the cottage before guest families arrive. We would be very grateful if you could do the following:
We encourage all our guests to take out travel insurance bearing in mind that the government policies regarding holiday travel are conditional and subject to change. Please also see our regular terms and conditions.
Thank you for helping us to keep our guests and staff safe by adhering to these guidelines. Please do contact us with any questions.
