Cornish beaches with a dog ban
Posted on: 10th July 2020
We love a waggy-tailed friend but families with young children who are nervous of dogs may prefer their beaches without dogs. Dogs are now banned on 45 Cornish beaches between 1 July and 31 August each year. The dog ban is extended to 15 May – 30 September on the following beaches:
- Carbis Bay, Carbis Bay
- Crackington Haven, Bude
- Crooklets Beach, Bude
- Gyllingvase, Falmouth
- Polzeath Beach
- Porth Beach
- Porthmeor Beach, St Ives
- Porthminster Beach, St Ives
- Porthtowan Beach
- Sennen Beach
- Trevone BEach, Padstow
- Widemouth Beach, Bude
The ban is in place between 10am and 6pm each day. You can find full details here.
